well im a huuugggeee of limp bizkit fan and i can tell you everything you need to know. But anyways to answer your question they released an album in July called "collected" and are currently rehearsing for tour. so yea they r back it is just that wes will never be in the band anymore.

wes is considered by some if not all limp bizkit fans to be the bad ass guitarist but him and fred had a falling out because fred was pushing the band toward hip hop and he wanted to stay true to the fans (correct me if i'm wrong cause it's been awhile since i heard that)
