yes, I always like that element of this song - a half-step hammer-on, done 3x -- gives the somg some speed and urgency, along with the drum line - wish I were a musician, and could enhance the mood of a song with knowing and subtle technical embellishments - of course, Sarah M herself is the center of it -- she has such a sweet controlled pure voice, that when she elects to push it, bend it just a little, the strained tone holds as much emotion as another singer simply wailing away

This song is from 1991. Of course it's going to sound different from her later stuff.

It seems to be a shampoo commercial. I have two of her CDs and love her music, but this is not impressive in the least. I would have liked to see a story type thing behind what you hear on the CDs to better understand it.

It's O.K. Not the Sarah that I love, but it seems like it might best be described as not sucking. It could be a LOT better. LOT better.
