This song is one of my favorites, and I can play it on the piano (along with a bunch of other VC songs, I love her...) and my advice is to record yourself playing this on the piano and not singing, then play it back and sing along, listening carefully to yourself. try recording that and layering the two audio files.

Part of the reason your balance is uneven is that you're not using a microphone. You can get a fairly cheap mic that hooks up to your computer, and most computers come with a 'sound recorder' program. That way you won't have to strain your voice to be heard. Then, if you want to put the recording on youtube, you could make a slideshow of pictures (perhaps of you playing) again, you really have talent, and it would be a shame not to work to be even better! <3
