He was not a hero....he was just one great musician, not tecnically...he was just phenomenal at writing and creating melodies...maybe the best in this aspect...he was able to put his soul in his musics..and that is what makes him one of my faorite artists

in a way he was a hero along with many other things cuz his music touched those young people who were lost during times of their lives. his music helped them get through life for those who found it difficult like with feelings and emotions etc cuz the music was their feelings. that is what makes a great artist too
