One of their best song, and they still play it so intensely!!! WOW!

Say what you will about Aerosmith. They have had their ups and downs over the years, some that many were not able to endure in other bands. I have been a fan as long as they have been togther. First concert I saw them was in 1976. Like fine wine, they have improved with age. Their first couple of albums were some of their best, to me. I don't hear the music coming out of many of today's talent that compares with that. Just my feelings on it. How great it is to be able to express them. Peace.

you would think after playing together for 37 years they would give joe a microphone of his own. I expect they can afford it. Joe has improved on his vocals, I will say that. He was very monotone, flat. Great improvement. Greatest band ever!!!

user
but thats the classic Aero image-steven and joe sharing a mike with joe playin guitar, with Steven's arm on his shoulder-PURE AEROSMITH!

user
want you to know Dave I never use the entry "lol" but your comment about affording the microphone renders this that worthy occasion......nice!

user
these back-ups have been over-dubbed later for the recording...I love joe, but that is Steven singing

user
As others have said, hugely underrated song. My favorite by far.

user
One of the most under rated Aerosmith songs. Personally, this is one of favorites.

I could be wrong - (It's happened) but I think the tuning is EBEABE - You are Def right about the standard tuning on the solo though. I'm not positive and you could be right. I just think I hear the A in there. Cheers, Rich

Lyrics:
blood stains the ivories on my daddy's baby grand
ain't seen the daylight since we started this band
no more, no more (2x)
store-bought clothes fallin' 'part at the seams
tea leaf-readin' gypsies fortune-tellin' my dreams
no more, no more (2x)
Holiday Inn, lock the door with a chain
you love 'em and you hate it but to me they're all the same
no more, no more (3x)
baby I'm a dreamer
found my horse and carriage
stalemate jailbait ladies can't refuse
you love 'em then you leave 'em with your sold out reviews
no more, no more (2x)
sweet-talkin' bar room ladies disease
slippin' with her lips slidin' down your knees
no more, no more (3x)
*** screamer
bound to a wife in marriage
baby I'm a dreamer
found my horse and carriage
ladies hold the aces while my lovers call it passion *
the men call it pleasure but to me it's old fashioned
times they're a-changin' nothing ever stands still
if I don't stop changin' I'll be writin' my will
it's the same old story never get a second chance
for a dance to the top of the hill
babe I'm a dreamer
found my horse and carriage
