if youre refering to the georgian conflict,no,we didnt get russia to give up,what we did was make empty promises of protection to Georgia,they were attacked and all we did is have our stupid president make a bunch of empty threats to russia,thats all,but the only way we could have done anything was to reinact the draft to have enough troops,and with a liberal congress,that was never going to happen,and also the fear that a direct military conflict with russia would result in nuclear warfare

Starwars what a laugh, Russia didn't give up because America was going to put billions into something that they couldn't do. They gave because the world was against them, not just America, but China and Europe. A merica wil take credit.

I just don't think America is the savour, it's got rich, Did America get russia to give up?. What about the threat from China, and the rest of Europe. Britain,FRance,Germany and China forced Ussr to give in, China alone was a massive theat.

ah but if america hadnt entered the war in 1917 we would have won anyway the blockade of british naval vessels was starving germany and by that time germany was running low on critical supplies and losing moral whats more its citizens were starting to turn also it was fighting on several fronts agains multiple countrys they were being overwhelmed thats why they retreated and then surrendered :]
