if you dont think prime doors, were the most potent force in their era, then ask yourself, what band & esp what lead could nail this song like jim & the doors did w/ this version... hey, the stones were great, ditto ccr, animals, who etc.. but lets get real, none had a lead w/ the sense of creative & sensual intrepretation of material (orginal or covered) then mrmojo. this is like elvis w/ all southern mores thrown out the window. just too bad, the doors couldnt maintain this consistently.
