user Rock is not greater than hip hop. They are equal artistic forms of expression and storytelling. That is not hip hop you're hearing on the radio. Hip hop is dead. If the song lil Wayne made had some artistic value, cool. But it's just bull shit man. Also they fucked up one of the best clash songs straight to hell. It's gettin outta hand. If these artists gon make crap wateva, jus leave the classics alone. it's just no real music anymore, rap or rock. It's all about money, not the music ya know.
user Saint John's Wood is a cemetary.
user I feel ya man. Im only 15 and I get shit all the time because I actually know the music thats playing.
user back in 11th grade in my geometry there was a girl who was wearing a stones sweatshirt. i asked her if she actually knew the stones and she said no but i found out ther're some old group and i only bought it cuz i though it was cute. when she said that i actually got offended but didn't say anything because i didn't want her to know i knew who the rolling stones were because i knew she would laugh and the same thing would happen.
user Just so you know, the people suing over the use of this in Playing with fire and of The last time in bittersweet symphony is the record company ABKCO, who actually ripped off the Rolling Stones way back when when they inadvertently signed over their back catalog to them. I'm not necessarily sure if the rolling stones also advocate these lawsuits, but they dont start them.
user That makes more sense... and I hope it is just the money-grubbing guys in suits doing this sort of stuff. Music is my first love and money is a distant eigth, i believe :)
user love this I remember seeing it at 14 on Shindig!wow never thought I'd see it again, thanks for posting it.
