Russell Hitchcock may not officially write songs but he does correct words, notes, and anything that suits his voice. As you can realize from this video when Air Supply rehearses. I like the purity that they show instead of the fluff on tv by "artists" who forgot to show the world that they are humans and must practice for a perfect performance.

I agree with you. Air Supply is pure and honest and their music shows that. I still don't think Russell is using falsetto except for maybe the last note or so. He has the most beautiful high voice I've ever heard.
