John Hammond is partly responsible for these great artists-Benny Goodman,Aretha Franklin,Billie Holiday,Count Basie,Pete Seeger,Bob Dylan,Bruce Springsteen and many many other greats.He did not really "Discover" them as the story goes but moved their careers along quicker sort of speak.He was instrumental in their success.DYLAN and BRUCE are BOTH great musicians BUT,THE MAN HIMSELF, HAMMOND, partly responsible for BOTH GUYS success has said in the past,Bruce is the better SONGWRITER of the two.
