I always have tears in my eyes when listening to this song. It is jsut so touching and reminds me of the wild and reckless years of my youth. Thanks for sharing.

pefemm,,you are so right,my wife and i had a hot rod in the early 70's and this song always hits a soft spot in me,,we can still remember those great races and great times we had,no one can take that away,,still makes me feel young and reckless..hope i always feel that way!

I was cruising Speedway Blvd in Tucson and Van Nuys in CA when this Album was popular, Darkness on the Edge of Town, yea baby, , Streetracing was the biggest thrill I ever had,
