im sorry for the guy who passaways i saw this video today and i was so touch i by it i cried because i felt what mr snatana felt that his friend passways and i can see in his eye that he was about to tear up and cry. its how amazing mr santana is you can feel his emotions on his song

I really don't know why I like Miles Davis. Joe Zawinul is the composer of this tune, but Miles did it famous. Is really nice to hear Santana doing this tune and the people knowing and loving this. I recommend listening the original Miles "In a Silent Way". Maybe lots of times.

I love this tune - Carlos plays it as well as anyone. Anyone here read the recent interview with John McLaughlin, where he said that Miles got him to play this tune this way by asking him to play it as if he was learning to play guitar - slow it down. Carlos captures it perfectly.

yeah, I had heard that song before and it's more like a Jam. This is a tribute to a dearly departed friend. Good information for the occasional listener though!!!

The guy who died was named Joe Zawinul, an amazing keyboardist who wrote several classic compositions. As Santana said, he played with Miles Davis and was one of the founding members of Weather Report. He wrote this while in Vienna looking over a park while it was snowing and his wife was sleeping.
