Happily, many of the important radio stations in the LA area (KROQ, Star98.7) are not playing Timbaland's bastardized version. They're playing the original, and solely crediting One Republic. Good for them.

the timbaland version is not the bastarized ok its actually very beatiful mixing great music with an incredible beat n yes i dont agree with the crediting but the band accept those terms and plus timbaland put them on th map no offense to one republic bcuz i love them but i dont hear any other of their songs being #1 in america and canada so

Apparently the band is not happy with those terms, and Timbaland's bastardized version - they have re-released their original, and removed Timbathief's top billing.

yeah i hear you, cuz i live the original apologize song, and now everyone knows them because of timbaland. and hey thats great for the band but no one knows the original =/ but im happy for the band

hey just to let you know it's not timbaland - apoligize (feat. one republic) it's timbaland PRESENTS one republic - apoligize. therefore he is not takin credit for making the song. In my eyes he just put one republic on the map. most people had no idea who these guys where, but now with that song out people are BUYING THIER CD's.....now isnt that what they wanted?
