i totally agree with u his lyrics are not only about women an money and that´s how it seposs 2 be

Kanye West doesn't write all about money and women. He's written about his childhood, his mother, his past, his future, his problems with money and love, Diamonds from Sierra Leone, Hey Mama, Big Brother, Jesus Walks. And so on. The one thing I refuse to listen to is music with pointless lyrics, and I really think Kanye pus his heart into his songs. But then again that's my personal opinion. C'mon, someone's gotta contradict me, who's first?

user
That's because rappers today are one-dimensional. Kanye is an artist, and if you don't like it the album wasn't made for you. I think he knew he'd loose fans due to the fact that many people are close-minded to other types of music. Don't quote me on this but i'm pretty sure singing about women and heartbreak isn't going to kill hip-hop; in fact that's what helped start it

most rappers??? you dont know most rappers because most rappers dont sell out to get into the pop charts which are probably the only ones youve ever heard off, kanye has just started to contribute to the death of hip-hop by changing his lyrics and music to suit the pop genre, hes even started to make rnb records which in the hip-hop world is the lowest you can go to sell, all he writes about now is money and women and its no coincidence that at the same time he did it he got more popular

Lyrics:
Mr. West

And I heard 'em say
Nuthin's ever promised tomorrow, today
From the Chi, like Tim, it's the Hardaway
So this is in the name of love like Robert say
Before you ask me to go get a job today
Can I at least get a raise on the minimum wage?
And I know the government administered aids
So I guess we just pray like the minister say

Allah o Akhbar just throw in some hot cars
'Cause the things we see on the screen is not ours
But these niggas from the hood so these dreams not far
Where I'm from the dope boys is the rock stars
But they can't cop cars without seeing cop cars
I guess they want us all behind bars, I know it

And I heard 'em say
Nuthin's ever promised tomorrow, today
And I heard 'em say
Nuthin's ever promised tomorrow, today
(Nuthin's ever promised tomorrow, today)
But we'll find a way
(And nuthin' lasts forever but be honest, babe)
(It hurts but it may be the only way)

They say people in your life are seasons
And anything that happen is for a reason
And niggas gun-clappin' and keep to squeezin'
And gran' keep prayin' and keep believin'
In Jesus and one day that she'll see him
'Til then in walk his footsteps and try to be him
The Devil is alive, I feel him breathin'

Claimin' money is the key, so keep on dreamin'
And put them lottery tickets just to tease us
My Aunt Pam can't put them cigarettes down
So now, my lil' cousin smokin' them cigarettes, now
His job try to claim that he too niggerish, now
Is it 'cause his skin blacker than licorice, now?
I can't figure it out, I'm stickin' around

And I heard 'em say
Nuthin's ever promised tomorrow, today
And I heard 'em say
Nuthin's ever promised tomorrow, today
(Nuthin's ever promised tomorrow, today)
But we'll find a way
(And nuthin' lasts forever but be honest, babe)
(It hurts, but it might be the only way)

'Cause every worthless word we get more far away
And nuthin's ever promised tomorrow, today
And nuthin' lasts forever, but be honest, babe
It hurts, but it may be the only way
