I disagree with Murmur being their best.While I think it's an amazing album my favorite REM album is Life's Rich Pageant.

Yeah. I LOVE this band. But sadly enough, all my fellow peers that go to my school haven't even heard of them. It's a sad world when u know everyone knows who you're talking about when you mention Britney Spears but give you a blank stare when u mention R.E.M.

I love the vibe that this album gives off. I think it's really optimistic!~ Like the songs portray sad situations (Such as this one.) but it shows that the people are still trying given the little resources they have!~^^^

yeah, I like Murmur, Reckoning, Chronic Town...even Fables. They were just a different band then...a much, much better and unique one.
