She turned 16 2 weeks before that and didn't even have a chance to get her license. Someone else's son (he died too) was driving. It was driver error...the weather was clear and dry, there were no other vehicles involved...just a young driver. She never came back.

14 years ago I waved goodbye to my best friend's daughter and told her to have fun on a Friday. Three hours later, she was dead. Not just a crash; she was trapped in a car that burned up so badly there wasn't any thing left to identify her but a couple of teeth. Many tried to make us feel better, saying "they weren't conscious", but the one kid who got out knows better. He watched his two friends burn to death and he could do NOTHING. when i listen to this song, I really feel and wish my mom & dad were still alive along with my brother & sister. I really do miss them so much..so much it hurts. the memories we shared were irreplaceable. I will miss you forever mom, dad, milt, & maritza. I guess I'll see you someday..in the future..I pray.:(
