Ok, this is whyi like westcoast. It aint even the Gangsta or pimp content. It's just the way they produce hip hop music. If the were just rapping about everyday stuff, the production value is gonna be A1. Dogg Pound was always underated, wheather it's Kurupt lyrics, snoops voice, or Daz production. These cats have always been tight.

DPG is one of the best rap groups ever. I still don't think many MC's are on Kurupt's level. Kurupt, on his old tracks, like We Can Freak It, Fresh, C-Walk etc. on the Kuruption! CD are fricking amazing. You can have opinions, but if someone says Kurupt is whack, they wouldn't know good rap music if it smoked a blunt in their face.
