I, too, love this song; the modulation to B major in the middle of the chorus is fantastic

oh I don't know. think they were just ready to go in different directions; kinda like the beatles.i think they weren't really interested in becoming an 80's video band. you grow or go and they grew, but in different ways. not saying i'm altogether corrct in this;it's just my opinion.

The 80's may have been crap but that was good.

Their sound had changed a lot by 1982. They were also well on their way out by then too. Now they must all be in their sixties as they had been going in different bands a few years before coming together to form Abba in the early 1970s. The key to their success was of course to start singing in English instead of Swedish.

Abba don't seem to want to perform together again. I think this is a mature decision. They were great as a band but they've all moved on to other things. They all have lives in the present so why do they need to go back and re-live the old ones? It's embarrasing watching so many sixty something has-been rock-starts trying to re-invent themselves. Well done Agnetha, Anni-Frid, Benny and Bjorn. Enjoy your lives !
