I'm in an actively gigging band so I feel I'm qualified to say from personal experience, a songs performance depends largely not on songwriting, but actually,the PA system you're playing through. Odd but true. This sounds like shit. But imagine live, through a nicely EQ'd PA system hammering the bass kick into your chest. It would be fucking awesome.
