user Kansas is an awesome band. My daughter, also had an opportunity of seeing them, front row, center, when she was 4 years old. She loves Kansas, especically Carry On! Anyway, Kansas is a very positive band!!! Thanks for sharing this song!!!
user I will stand beside this band of players anyday...
user amazing that the band that put out dust in the wind & icarus also put out this crap...wtf
user guess it shows diversity and being able to change with the times. what kind of crap are you listening to these days?
user His voice was starting to change too. Maybe it was just age and the years of touring at this point, but later, the coke messed his throat up and he needed surgery to fix it. Check out the Live at the Whiskey videos for an example of what coke did to Steve and his voice. I'm sure glad he rose above it and conquered his addiction.
user It was his throat? I heard it was his nasal passages were destroyed. He always sounds like he has a cold. I guess maybe a combination of both. He had a great voice, but I've gotten used to his voice now and it's not so bad.

Lyrics:
I can feel someone here In the air tonight Waiting alone inside for survival Cruising this place Like flesh on a neon sign Brighten up my life tonight Before the candle flickers
Stand beside me I will never let you fall Stand beside me I'll come whenever you call I will take it to the wall
I had a life out here Like a rumble fish Waiting to drown like all of my rivals Hiding in rooms so hot To the human touch
Choose your poison if you can Take this heart of mine and
Stand beside me I will never let you fall Stand beside me I'll come whenever you call I will take it to the wall
