Brandy was out before J.Lo and was acting before her, she paved the way for minorities to act and sing and be in the mainstream. Just because she isn't as rich as J.Lo doesn't mean she isn't as talented. J.Lo has a strong force behind her, because she is marketable.

J Lo lucked out and came into the public's awareness just when America realized that "multi-ethnic" doesn't just mean Black and White and decided that it was time to start embracing hispanic images. And those ho dresses at award shows didn't hurt in helping to get everyone's attention either.

J lo slept with anyone that she even THOUGHT might open a door for her. Her voice is horrible and the studo "magicians" can barely even make her voice tolerable.Furthermore, her acting is atrocious.
