i guess th robot sort only unloks people from their chains at deth, representing som shit or somin. soz, but im not rly up wit this hidden meaning stuff. its an osome song. thts wot counds XD

I think the robot represents death. Robots are cold and unprejudiced machines that attach themselves to babies (because the babies represent life) and thus with life comes death. You can't have one without the other. When the old man finally dies the robot reattaches itself to something alive (another baby) and the whole process starts over again. This is just my opinion though. The great thing about music is that it can have different meanings depending on who is interpreting it.
