I am glad that Noel is a great fan of the Beatles but I am especially glad that he is able to "make his own Beatles." If he and the rest of the band did not have a personality of their own, Oasis would just sound like a cheap immitation. Honestly I have never heard any band like Oasis and I find it hard to see the similarities with The Beatles.

I agree with you. Oasis is a band with a great personality, which belongs mainly to Noel. Oasis' Beatles influence has never been denied by Noel. Several of their songs have Beatles' details and I think it's amazing. I also think that Oasis was not an imitation of Beatles. There is a strong influence, but the band developed his style and has reached a place in music history. Its main limitation is that the only creative genious is Noel. This big detail has limited its growing, in my opinion.

I dont know man, "im outta time" sounds pretty fucking big to me, and liam wrote it. this new album will probably be a big surprise to us all.
