Yeah he totally "messed up his voice" on purpose. Not like he needed throat surgery if he was to save his vocals cords or that he has aged twenty years. It was totally his fault. Shut the fuck up.

I think this is phenomenal! I recorded this concert in 1995 when it was broadcast on TV and have heard it live a few times since. Elton is now 61 and his voice and piano playing seem to age like a fine wine. To criticize him now by referring to the early 1970s when he was just in his 20's does not demonstate music appreciation, especially for a legendary artist.
