Yep, and my understanding is Bowie offered them other songs, they refused, wanting to make it on their own merit. You can decide for yourself how that worked out for them.

That is very true, Bowie even offered them Suffragette City so that they would record it and not break up, They refused, but recorded All The Young Dudes Instead
