umahuma4, I give a shit and I'm part of the future generation. Your not alone believe me. Just remember that we are all part of a bigger consciousness and everything you do will affect something else in the world so don't feel powerless, it is a mad world just learn to step away from it once in a while and keep those you love close to you.

this song really gained popularity from darko and then gears. i have to admit the song did go well with gears of war though. i think this is the song that gary jules is pretty much known for.

user
actually this is the version in donnie darko...TFF's sounds much different than the movie version, which is this one.

Hey mate, just keep on keeping on, there is alot of people who feel the same way as you so don't think you're alone, there is no solution and death/suicide is definitely not the answer, just sit back and watch this movie unfold, also I recognize some of what you say is from the movie "Network" :) Humanity is full of good and bad, just keep on keeping on, keep your mind level with music and information and just sit back like I said, watch it all unfold.

Lyrics:
All around me are familiar faces
Worn out places, worn out faces
Bright and early for the daily races
Going no where, going no where

Their tears are filling up their glasses
No expression, no expression
Hide my head I wanna drown my sorrow
No tomorrow, no tomorrow

And I find I kind of funny, I find it kind of sad
The dreams in which I'm dying are the best I've ever had
I find it hard to tell you, I find it hard to take
When people run in circles its a very, very
Mad world, mad world

Children waiting for the day they feel good
Happy birthday, happy birthday
And I feel the way that every child should
Sit and listen, sit and listen

Went to school and I was very nervous
No one knew me, no one knew me
Hello teacher tell me what's my lesson
Look right through me, look right through me

And I find I kind of funny, I find it kind of sad
The dreams in which I'm dying are the best I've ever had
I find it hard to tell you, I find it hard to take
When people run in circles its a very, very
Mad world, mad world, enlarging your world
Mad world
