user Does anyone have the music video to this song? Rod had dedicated this to his wife at the time, Elaine (popular model in the 80's)..I think she was also in his video if I'm not mistaken.
user Ya mean Rod dedicated someone elses song to his wife? why didn't he write her one in his own words? I dont think the marriage lasted did it? prob the vid gets taken off by exile, Van Morrisons company who owns the song.
user No the marriage didn't last..But, Exile was kind of enouh to give me permission to post any of Van's music.
user LOL! I've read all the remarks everyone says about exile requiring permission for the cover versions by "noncommercial cover songs" so i doubt wat you say is true about permission for all Van's music, i doubt it very much.
user lol you think no1 wouldve noticed if he was 5 seconds late on every word? :P
user THAT'S LESS THAN ONE DAY TOO LATE...it's the music that counts I suppose ?...
user i definatly agree.
user Me gusta muchísimo más la versión de Van Morrison, si no la conoceis os la recomiendo, aparte que es la versión original.
user Really condescending of you craiglaboy as if Van Morrison serves Rod Stewart. I think it's the other way around. Rod owes Van a lot for letting him sing this gorgeously written song. And Van does the authentic version which is an ode to earthly love/heavenly love. Rods version only addresses romantic love. Thanks to Exile Vans Co for letting you put this on. huh?
user Yes..They were kind enouh to give me permission for any of Van's music.
