Beautiful version... but I prefer (the obvious)

I like the sound of the original a lot more. Armstrong just had that unique voice that made the song what it was. Stewart has a good voice, but his version is different, and not as good, IMHO.

ROD STEWART IS SIMPLY AMAZING. So was Louis A. AMEN

user
lous does it better

user
yes like someone said it is a matter of taste. there may be times when the song will sound better from its orginal or may be worse. IN my opinion this guy sucks ass. no offence to FANS. I come in peace. lol. but nice try though. RIP Louis ur always going to be in my heart

user
love the look on the blokes face when rod sits next to him lol he looks well uncomfortable!

user
I think this version is good. anyway,it's a matter of taste. I agree, that it's way different from the original, but Rod Stewart has a good voice too and I don't see why anyone crabs an adaptation.

user
Everyone is being a bit hard on Rod. I agree this is not a patch on Louis Armstrong's version, but nevertheless it's not an appauling version.

Lyrics:
(feat. Stevie Wonder)
I see trees of green, red roses too
I see them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world

I see skies of blue and clouds of white
The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world

The colours of the rainbow, so pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces of people going by
I see friends shakin' hands, sayin' "How do you do?"
They're really saying "I love you"

I hear babies cryin', I watch them grow
They'll learn much more than I'll ever know
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world
Yes, I think to myself, what a wonderful world
