courtcol in your statement this is what i have been hearing for years. but i think you can hear the mama papa's magic in this song. only these four people have the mama's and papa's sound which is gone forever. ( the backing band not to good. )

Well, as I said, I loved the M&Ps too...Cass, in particular. My comment was that this cut was NOT up to their standards. Aside from the lousy mixing job, they were singing flat a lot of the time; that could be due to faulty monitor feedback, too. Regardless of this one "bad" performance, they left a brilliant legacy of music.
