We all know its about Nick because it talks about them having a house in the city instead of the country. Its so sad cuz you can see just by looking at their pictures that their love was real. They always had their eyes on eachother and Nick doesn't show that look with Vanessa, and Jessica talks about Tony so much you wonder if she really IS happy. I'm sure she is but Tony will never hold a candle to Nick.

I think she was holiding back the tears at the end

I love jess but what the hell was she thinking when she decided to divorce nick? Was she out of her mind and is she just now realizing that she made a mistake? To be honest with you Tony Homo seems like a prick ...going from one woman to another ...good luck jess, he don't seem like a good buy.

She's so Pretty, she can make all the mistake's she want's!

user
she should have just made this album instead of A PublicAffair...that album really pissed me off...at least this album she expresses SOME remorse about Nick...

user
I agree, I think this song is about nick even though she won't say who the other songs are about besides You're My Sunday. It's obvious she still loves nick, it's sad they're no longer together cause Tony has some big shoes to fill...don't think he could ever replace what Jess and Nick had. :(

Lyrics:
I could've been your June Carter Cash
Waltzed right along with you, all through this life with you
I could've been your light in the dark
The one that you're reaching for when you can't take it anymore

We could've been, we could've been

Eighty years old, sipping on history
Every drop, taste every memory
Under the stars
Looking back on this beautiful love that we made
Holding your hand

We could've had a big trampoline
Kids running 'round the yard, Superman and bottle cars
We could've had that one of a kind love
The kind that fits like a glove, that everybody's jealous of

We could've been, we could've been

Eighty years old, sipping on history
Every drop, taste every memory
Under the stars
Looking back on this beautiful love that we made
Holding your hand

Eighty years old, sipping on history
Every drop, taste every memory
Under the stars
Looking back on this beautiful love that we made
Holding your hand
