Honestly, can someone explain the video to me? Especially the young guy getting killed at the end?

For me, this video is about pursuing profit at all costs. The clothing of the actors in this video and the way its done makes me think of the Industrial Revolution. The man with the hat who keeps watching over everyone could be described as an overseer or plantation owner. Slavery and the Industrial Revolution are a few times in history where economic profit was pursued at the expense of a large portion of the population. I believe the young guy was killed for two reasons:

#1 = he was only used to test the product. Once the product was deemed effective/OK, he had served his purpose. #2 = the product did not work on him specifically, so he was killed in order to deny the possibility that the product can't work. Remember, the product in this video is some sort of monitor with a perpetual smile. This product probably serves to give the illusion that everything is good, all the time. Maybe his death signifies business' priority is perceived reality versus actual.
