that's what i always thought he was talking about in the song... someone else suggested it has to do more with 'the industrial complex' and creating a monster ... sorta like godzilla.. but i dont buy into it... i wish he'd just come out and say "many miles away at loch ness, Nessie's shadow was cast on the cottage along the shore..."
